8 years ago we all called MCBH home, and 21st Dental Company brought us together. 🤙🏽

Life has taken us in different directions since then, but we’ve stayed connected in the ways that matter. And this March, we made it back to the island that brought us all together in the first place.

My heart can’t fully put into words what these families mean to us—the history, the memories, the way it all just picks right back up like no time has passed.

Hawaii will always feel like home,
but it’s the people who make it that way.

So grateful for this time together.

A place we once called home… on an island we always will. 🫶🏼

2015–2018 in Hawaii were some of our most formative years… We landed back then on Tucker’s half birthday, and somehow, without planning it, came back on Cooper’s.

Life has a way of weaving the sweetest little details together.

So much gratitude for the memories held here and for our Hawaiian Ohana.

So incredibly proud of Tucker this season. 💙

Second year Sq**rt.
First year full-time goalie.
100% ice time.

The growth from last year to this year has been amazing to watch. Going from C team to B1 wasn’t just a move — it was earned through work ethic, determination, and a commitment to this position that has truly inspired us. (and added gray hair)

He prayed to be on this team… and I know exactly why. The support from his coaches, teammates, and families was never questioned. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better group to “walk” through this season with.

A part of me feels a little lost seeing Sq**rt B1 come off the calendar after last night. But I know the friendships, lessons, and bonds built this year will last far beyond one season.

So proud of you, Tuck. Keep chasing it. 💙
And so proud of your team. 🤍

Another weekend of early mornings, cold rinks, all the emotions, and cheering for one goalie + one skater 🏒
my nervous system needs a softer reset.

So instead of jumping into a packed to-do list tomorrow, I’m choosing rhythm over routine.

✨ One anchor task
✨ One nourishing thing
✨ One real rest moment

That’s it.
Because my body needs predictability, not pressure.

Some days I will get all three.
Some days I may only get one.
Both count - in any season. 🤍

So proud of Tucker for earning his first shutout of the season last night!!

He faced some great shots against St. Cloud and battled hard in the net from start to finish.

As every goalie knows, shutouts are never a solo effort. Tuck is surrounded by an incredible defense and team who show up, support each other, and play for one another every shift. Every goalie deserves to be on a team like Tuck’s this year. 💙

Last night Cooper and his team skated at Ridder Arena on the University of Minnesota campus — and it felt a lot full circle…

Watching him play on campus ice where Matthew spent his undergrad and dental school years brought back so many memories. This is where our relationship really took off, where we got engaged, and where we celebrated finding out we were expecting Cooper.

Time moves fast, but moments like this make you pause + grateful for where you’ve been. 🫶🏼

Second place at the Thief River Falls tournament 🥈
Friday night was hands-down the best hockey we’ve seen all season, and today we put up a solid fight until the very end. So proud of these kids for their grit, growth, and teamwork. Grateful beyond words to be part of such a kind, supportive team — on and off the ice. 💙
