Wegoy is now FDA approved to treat MASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) in adults!!

Novo Nordisk’s obesity drug Wegovy was cleared by U.S. regulators to treat an increasingly common liver disease, MASH.

Ozempic all doses for $499 for 1 pen. So if you have patients who respond to lower doses they can now get the 8mg pen for $499 via most pharmacies and GoodRx coupon or via NovoCare!
Unfortunately not for Medicare or Medicaid.

Novo Nordisk said on Monday it was offering its diabetes drug Ozempic for $499 per month to eligible cash-paying patients with type 2 diabetes in the U.S. via its own pharmacy, a tie-up with telehealth service GoodRx and other platforms.
