This morning SASCS Instructor Volz was working with the Faribault County Firefighters Association. The firefighters present were from Walters, Wells, Winnebago, Kiester, Easton, Bricelyn, and Blue Earth
We spent the entire morning training on grain bin rescue. Learning how to rig a grain bin and we also had a chance to cut a bin with various saws and blades.

All SASCS billing is up to date through June 30, 2025.
We have "pre-billed" all of the June classes so that fire departments will have a little extra time to get all of their invoices in to the MBFTE before the July 8th, 2025 reimbursement cut off date.
Let's put Allison, Ross Hoernemann, and Steve Flaherty to work approving all of those reimbursements!

Another house burn completed. SASCS is on track to complete over 30 house burns this year. We could not do this many burns if not for our amazing burn instructors!

The Nicollet County 1001- Basic Firefight class is finishing up their class in North Mankato by completing their fire certification practical test and performing their live burn.
