A native of Asunción, Paraguay, Dr. Victor Cantero obtained his medical degree at the National University of Asunción in 1998, where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same teaching hospital. Dr. Cantero migrated to the United States in 2005 and completed his U.S.-based training in obstetrics and gynecology at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center and Flushing Hospital Medical Center, and Weill Cornell University in New York City. He is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a member of the American Medical Association. He is a member of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at various hospitals around south Florida.
