Chris somehow caught an E-Coli infection when he was 18 months old during the 93 floods an investigation was performed and health dept officials could not determine what the cause was at the same time 2 other children in Mid Missouri also contracted e-coli and all 3 children were at the hospital at the same time . Chris received dialysis and was there about 28 days in the Hospital was sent home fully recovered . since that time he grew as a normal child and had no problems for many years he was a very picky eater but no different than normal children . In May 2008 he was slowly degrading just before school years end he was sleeping alot not eating much , we took him back to the doctor and To our surprise we learned his kidneys were shutting down , he was placed again on dialysis and luckily we only had to go through that for 6 months when a Co-worker of my wife decided to donate one of her kidneys .
