                                            Big feelings in kids often appear as fight, flight, or freeze responses—our body’s natural ways of handling stress. These behaviors aren’t just “acting out” but signs of overwhelm or anxiety. When parents, teachers, and caregivers recognize these stress responses for what they are, we can respond with compassion and help kids feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
