I took a 3-week break from posting, and here's what I realized...

You've been told to rest after your heart event, but nobody taught you HOW to rest without guilt. I discovered this myself when I caught myself burned out - working nights as a hospitalist, not sleeping enough, beating myself up for "not doing enough."

Here's the truth: You can't pour from an empty cup, especially when your heart is healing.

This matters because most heart patients live in two extremes - either pushing too hard to prove they're "fine" or frozen in fear of doing anything. Neither works.

👉 “How can inflammation and oxidation be reduced while taking Plavix?”

This comes up often in heart recovery conversations—because even after a procedure or prescription, deeper healing depends on what’s happening inside the body.

For clients recovering from heart events, here’s what’s been most helpful:

❤️ Medications like Plavix are essential after stents, heart attacks, or bypass—but they don’t extinguish the silent inflammation that continues behind the scenes.

3 supportive steps that make a difference:

🥗 Anti-inflammatory meals — Colorful plates with leafy greens, berries, healthy fats, and clean proteins.
🧘🏽‍♀️ Stillness rituals — Breathing, meditation, or prayer to reduce stress-driven inflammation.
💧 Hydration and rest — Gentle hydration and restorative sleep to cool the body’s internal fire.
