I took a 3-week break from posting, and here's what I realized...
You've been told to rest after your heart event, but nobody taught you HOW to rest without guilt. I discovered this myself when I caught myself burned out - working nights as a hospitalist, not sleeping enough, beating myself up for "not doing enough."
Here's the truth: You can't pour from an empty cup, especially when your heart is healing.
This matters because most heart patients live in two extremes - either pushing too hard to prove they're "fine" or frozen in fear of doing anything. Neither works.
If you're struggling with finding direction after your cardiac event, know this: Your heart isn't asking you to stop living. It's asking you to start living differently.
Over the next two weeks, I'm sharing my 3-Pillar Process that's helped hundreds reclaim their power:
1. Set a soul-feeding goal (not just a medical target)
2. Reverse engineer it into tiny daily wins
3. Start TODAY - imperfectly, gently, but consistently
Here's my invitation: My son graduates college December 20th - 46 days from today. I'm using this as my completion date for my personal health project, then celebrating with an adventure week together.
➡️ Want to join me? Share YOUR December 20th health goal below. Not a number on a scale or a cholesterol target - something that makes your heart excited to keep beating strong.
Let's do this together.
