Well, you heard it here first folks. The calendar proofs are approved and we are going to print. I can't believe a silly interchange with someone I have never met turned into this massive project
I won't lie, it has taken its toll on family life. This was a huge undertaking that was mine to fulfill. I had a lot of amazing donors and friends help along the way, which made it even more worthwhile.
So 1,000 calendars will be printed in the next 10-12 days. That means we need orders!!!! I can ship if need be. The form to order is below and has all the information on it.
The final sign off tonight really solidified what an amazing journey this has been from start to finish. I have learned so much, cried, yelled, and felt every emotion under the sun. But we have reached the end.
I cannot stress how amazing the staff is Printing Partners . Dennis Shea and Bryn are the two I have worked with closely. You could not hope to work with two nicer people. This is more than just a job for them. Dennis would text and email me til all hours of the night to give me updates and Bryn took what could have been a basic calendar into a piece of art. I cannot say enough good things about them and anything I do say doesn't do them justice.
People & Animal Learning Services (PALS) is an amazing organization that serves so many people in the surrounding 12 counties. Veterans, addiction survivors, at risk children, and people with disabilities have all used the power of horses to help heal. All calendar proceeds go directly to them to help rebuild their facility after it was destroyed by a tornado earlier this year.
