So I think it is far past time to say thank you to all the people who have supported us over the years. We have grown so much from one calf in 2017 to almost 30 cows, almost 100 chickens, and lots of sheep (no, I will not confirm the actual number, 😂).

We are beyond blessed to be able to offer eggs, fresh beef, lamb and pork, plus 5th Annual Modesto Craft Fair: The Wilderness Must be Explored.

Our local community has been so supportive in everything we have done and has shown up in so many ways. I also want to thank the online community for the likes and comments. We couldn't do it without all of you!!!!

We are just 7 weeks out from the big day! 🥳 5th Annual Modesto Craft Fair: The Wilderness Must be Explored

We have expanded the Kid's Zone this year and have both children and adult led projects to keep the kiddos occupied. A HUGE shout-out to Fowler Pumpkin Patch for sponsoring it this year!!!!

We also will have our ever popular John Kogge and David Sharp performing at 12pm. Be sure not to miss them!!! 🎶

We have multiple food vendors, and a mobile bar. Perfect way to keep the husband happy while you shop all of our incredible vendors! ✨

Okay, I have to do a PSA. If you all are in need of a reminder of love, how people fall in love, and how incredible those first few minutes with a person can be....... wait no longer.

I have been stumbling through cleaning the house and getting ready for my father-in-law to come and stay for a bit. Augie is beyond excited. I needed a show to keep me going and for everyone that actually knows me, knows I LOVE reality tv. Especially shows about people falling in love.

Run, not walk to watch Dating Around Netflix. It is the most real show about those first moments, letting your guard down, and taking a chance on finding your person. I have literally been bawling while I get dinner ready because I remember the days when Brandon and I first met, then 8 years later when we started dating, and all the rest that has come after.

Thank goodness my tears are a substitute for salt because this dinner is going to be well seasoned. I am telling you all. And by all, I mean whoever happens to see this, that it is a MUST see. It helped me grow my heart back a bit.

Now off to finish dinner. Have the best Sunday!!!!!

Just when we thought it was going to be a quiet spring after lambing season........

Everyone, meet Pongo! His markings are absolutely beyond beautiful and he is a sweetheart to boot. His mama, Charlotte is doing well and introduced him to the herd yesterday. I am beyond obsessed.

Egg fridges are full and the girls just keep clucking out those amazing eggs. My Marans are growing up and we are starting to get a good supply of those beautiful chocolate egg colors.

Now we get to wait and see who else is going to drop a calf! 🐄

When you neglect to understand that a young ram with ⚽🏈 could spread his "wisdom" with the whole crew. Also love his typical male timing. Lambs started dropping one day before we left for vacation. Slept 3 hours the night before we left. 7 lambs on the ground, all but one are ewes.

Moana, Celia Wheelia, Maui, Tafiti, Elsa and Anna, and Bambi! After a Disney adventure, we had to go with our favorite characters this time around. Our one vacation for the year, but it was totally worth the 5 people it took to keep things going around here. Plus a couple of on call friends.

I felt so blessed to be able to go with my parents, as I remember what those early wake ups in March meant as a kiddo. Indy to Orlando!!!!! I think my favorite part was sharing my love for Epcot which Augie agreed with. On his own accord he said it was the most magical place ever. Agreed little man. House of the mouse!!! 🐭

It's that time again!!!! The greenhouse is literally full of plant starts. I have attached the form link below to pre-order. No payment necessary until pick up. I am so committed to my garden/greenhouse this year, it is not even funny. We have a ton of different options and I am so excited to expand on this part of our farm.

So this week has been full of high highs and low lows. Stress manifests itself differently for everyone. I had to walk away from certain things. I realized how intentional I have to be this year. That's hard. 😭

Augie has been sick all weekend. 3am came way too early for me today. So no school for him tomorrow, but he is plowing through it with a lot of medicine.

We brought in a new dog, Henry. He is a 5 year old, duck hunting dog, who needed a home with purpose. For those of you playing the home game, we have 9 dogs right now. He had loving guardians, but knew he wasn't living his best life. We hope to do that for him. We are all full. So none y'all be sending me pics of more "free" animals.

We also had the most loving gift of two refrigerators. A friend and neighbor bought one at an auction for us, refusing to pay for it. 💜

The other came from some neighbors up the road that we had the pleasure of meeting. The surplus of eggs and getting ready for the garden this year made it necessary to get some new (to us) appliances so we can do it all right.
