Usually Sundays are reserved for church and family time. Since I spent pretty much all week moving over to the new property I decided to catch up on some jobs this morning parts have been sitting in my truck for before finishing the big move and then went on a quick road call this evening up mt hood. Time to get back to hitting it hard 6 days a week💪

Long drive to the dalles, long drive back to Portland for a def header and def heater control valve, long drive back to the dalles to install. Worth it watching these codes go inactive all on their own though. Got to knock out a trailer DOT and a couple minor trailer repairs while we were here also! 38,000 miles on this truck, seems to be about the life span for these def headers😂

This is why a good quality DOT inspection is so important. 2022 truck with only 36,000 miles on it. Leaf spring shackle bolts been riding loose for awhile now, wore about 25% through the bolts. In a truck that weighs 60-80k pounds that was an accident waiting to happen.

Been non stop brake jobs lately! This 2023 International already needed both drive axles of brake pads, rotors, and calipers!

Meant to take after pictures, but I was to wet by the end and ready to get out of there😂

DOT inspections, services, brakes and wheel seals. Sometimes a truck is too valuable to leave down during the week for basic repairs or general maintenance. If that’s the case, let us know and we can schedule it in for our Saturday crew!

Today was some brakes and DOT inspections in Albany and a wheel seal in Canby. I was able to grab parts this week and knock out while the truck can be left down for the day.

Today I am extremely excited to announce we now have medical and dental insurance for employees. It’s better than any medical or dental I have ever had at any job before starting this business. We are still looking to hire one more experienced mechanic. If anyone knows a mechanic looking for a good place to work with really good medical and dental please have them reach out to me and let’s talk details.

Fairly slow but productive day ended with a late night roadcall for a DEF header, coolant valve, and software update on a 2019 Freightliner m2. Easy money, now for the hard part, to stay awake for the drive home.

To all my customers, effective immediately our invoices will be coming from a new automated emailing system. They will look a bit different, and if you chose to have a card saved on file you will need to save that information again. My goal is to make this a seamless transition so over the next few weeks as I send invoices to my regular customers I will also be sending an email or text message to make sure everything is working the way it should. Pretty rare all three of us are in one spot at the same time, and it didn’t last long before I had to head to the 4th roadcall of the day. Very proud of the little fleet of service trucks we have though.
