Vinny has struggled with health issues for the last couple years and the best the vets have come up with is copper toxicity but meds haven't worked and they haven't given a clear direction on what we should test or try next. So K is taking matters into her own hands and she is starting him on regular Equiscope sessions. Right now she is focusing on acupressure points to help his liver and immune system and it's safe to say he loves it.

This picture is poor for a couple of reasons. First, it was not a planned session - I just grabbed probes and gel without planning their placement. Second, taking a good picture while holding two probes is not a skill I have. However, she was too cute to resist giving her a session.
I was originally at the barn for someone else, but she wheeled herself over and made herself comfortable at the Equiscope, which I took as her way of asking. Since she stuck around, I see more sessions for her in the future.

People often ask what is the Equiscope? What does it do, how does it work? Why and when is it an applicable modality for your program?

Officially known as Electro-Equiscope, fondly referred to as the Equiscope is a micro-current class 2 medical device that communicates with the body’s cells through electrical biofeedback. The micro-current is delivered to the cells and back through the application of electrode plates, probes, and rollers. Unique to the Equiscope that differs from other therapeutic devices is the input-output mechanism, biofeedback.
