Grief doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

Sometimes it’s loud and overwhelming…
Sometimes it’s quiet and shows up in unexpected moments—weeks, months, even years later.
And sometimes, we don’t even realize what we’re carrying… we just know something doesn’t feel right.

The truth is—grief touches all of us.
But too often, we try to walk through it alone.

At Red House of Hope, we believe you were never meant to carry that weight by yourself. There is healing in being seen, in being heard, and in sitting with others who understand.

💔❤️

Join us for a special Mental Health Event: Understanding Grief
A space where stories are shared, hearts are held, and hope begins to rise again.

You’ll hear powerful testimonies, gain practical tools, and be reminded of this simple truth:

You are not alone.

Whether you’re walking through fresh loss, carrying something from years ago, or supporting someone you love—this is a place for you.

✨ Come as you are.
✨ Bring a friend.
✨ Take one step toward healing.

We would be honored to walk alongside you.

Go to redhouseofhope.com events to RSVP. 😀❤️

People Are Not Projects They Are Vessels

Somewhere along the way,
we started treating people like problems to fix
instead of souls to love.

We built plans.
Programs.
Processes.

But God never called us to manage people

He called us to love them.
Not polish them.

Not package them.
Not pressure them into performance.

Love them.

Because people are not projects.

They are vessels.
Cracked vessels.
Bruised vessels.
Sometimes leaking, sometimes empty, sometimes shattered by choices and pain they never asked for.

But still
vessels.

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."
2 Corinthians 4:7

God never looks at a man drowning in addiction
and sees a failure to manage.

He sees a vessel worth filling.

He never looks at a woman buried under anxiety and shame
and sees a burden to control.

He sees a heart worth restoring.

Jesus didn’t walk into broken places with clipboards.

He walked in with compassion.

He touched lepers.
Sat with sinners.
Ate with the rejected.

Spoke life into the forgotten.
Not because they were projects to fix
but because they
were people to love.

"A bruised reed He will not break,
and a smoldering wick He will not s***f out."
Isaiah 42:3

That’s the difference between man’s system
and God’s heart.

Man builds programs.
God builds people.

Man measures progress.
God pours presence.

And when His love fills a vessel
even a cracked one
something holy begins to happen.

Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But powerfully.

Because love
real love
does what pressure never could.

It restores dignity.
It rebuilds identity.
It reminds the broken that they were never trash
they were treasure carrying heaven inside fragile clay.

So the next time we see someone struggling
addiction
depression
anger
shame
we don’t ask

"How do I fix them?"
We ask,
"How do I love them the way God loved me?"
Because the truth is
we were never the builders.
We were always the vessels too.
