Thank you to everyone who went on my daily journey to bring a tiny bit of light on the daily realities of domestic abuse. I unfortunately have 100's of nightmare stories working in the survivor community. I was raised that abuse was not to be spoken of, smile and look happy in public, and keep PRIVATE MATTERS PRIVATE. I made it a mission to bring awareness to the devil that is in so many homes.

Have you been following the weeks stories???Domestic abuse comes in many ways. How does a girl kill herself over a man?? So many ask. Let me take you on a trip. Let's say your 16 and fall in love ❤️ marry your dream man and have a child. You quickly wake up to the fact that being mistreated is no longer ok for your child. You are told by your husband that he hurts the child because of you and to protect your child you leave. YEARS LATER...the cycle of abuse has been non stop. The child is no longer a young child and now an angry teenager. Due to the events growing up this child no longer trusts parents, family,teachers, police or therapists. This child has pleaded with all the humans that are supposed to protect them. They have brought people to tears with the horrendous things that the teen now LAUGHS over because they know no one will actually help them. You've tried everything,you've slowly watched your child grow up suffering more and more and you have an option to RUN WITH THE CHILD. thats called kidnapping and you're in prison. Your child refuses to go? The courts call that coaching a child blame the mother and put her in jail. You want to scream your story? Thats called defamation of character and shut you up. THIS! PEOPLE! IS HOW MANY MOTHERS GIVE UP they cannot keep smiling through the pain. They dont want to give up but don't see another option.

Let's say your 16 and fall in love ❤️ marry your dream man and have a child. You quickly wake up to the fact that being mistreated is no longer ok for your child. You are told by your husband that he hurts the child because of you and to protect your child you leave. YEARS LATER...you recieve a call stating there is an investigation with CPS because of multiple reports. You explain how this has been bad for YEARS. You and your child are screaming for justice and help. You go home and you hear your child praying to GOD that the nice lady that came to school comes to her dads to see how bad it is there. You cry yourself to bed with equal prayers. Months later you never hear anything. No one comes to the house. No one does anything. You send your child back to the lions den. You pray things will get better but your child is consistently hurt over and over but not *bad enough * no evidentiary proof * a child must see both parents* you and your child cry themselves to sleep for another night. Years of hurt consistent trauma and hopelessness.

Years later you've been in court multiple times crying for justice for your child. Every therapist advocates journals books your read tells your child if someone hurts them they must tell a teacher or therapist. Years of crying for help your child go to the police and ask them to help. The police take their words and tell them they are worried for their safety AND THEM send them back in the home of who hurts them. When you find out your running out of hope. Your told its bad but not bad enough.

You quickly wake up to the fact that be I ng mistreated is no longer ok for your child. You are told by your husband that he hurts the child because of you and to protect your child you leave. FAST FORWARD YEARS. You are told your entire life that there are PEOPLE AND POLICIES THAT PROTECT CHILDREN. The child has told the gaurdian ed litem terrible things have happened with details. Your informed the young child could not give EXACT DATES AND TIMES this happened so they are throwing that out. Your told when others are in the household dad isn't as violent so they think its ok. Your crushed your child is broken they were so strong to speak their truth and told that the court says its fine.

You quickly wake up to the fact that being mistreated is no longer ok for your child. You are told by your husband that he hurts the child because of you and to protect your child you leave. Everything gets better for a short time till your child comes home crying that dad is hurting them. You are ANGRY but you hold back and talk to the dad about how they could do such a thing. They deny everything and when you get your child back they are shut down and refuse to barely look at you. Late that night they start crying asking for you to never yell at daddy again because they got in BIG TROUBLE for telling you. FAST FORWARD to court asking why you never discuss all these issues with the father. When you explain what happened when you said something that one time and they don't care but fault you for not consistently communicating the faults. You are stuck.

What choice do you have but to leave this world to protect your child?
