Selah's Center of Hope

Selah's offers housing for expectant mothers experiencing homelessness or abuse.

During their stay at our home, they receive support and opportunities aimed at empowering them, enabling them to eventually transition to independent living. Selah’s Maternity Home offers refuge for women facing unexpected pregnancies, grappling with homelessness, abuse, or trapped in the relentless cycle of poverty without adequate support. Beyond providing shelter, we extend our assistance to address their physical needs and offer services that empower them in their individual quests for independence. Our approach involves personalized case management, guiding them through healthcare, mental health, and social services. Moms benefit from ongoing support both before and after childbirth, all the while fostering the development and reinforcement of a profound spiritual life.

The Selah’s staff and board would like to thank our generous community partners who made Christmas possible this year for our current residents and several graduates. To the local schools, churches, parishes, businesses and community groups that reached out to us to specifically bless these Mothers and their children we are grateful beyond measure for your outpouring of love and kindness! Several of our residents/graduates expressed their deep gratitude by sharing this was the best Christmas they’d ever had! To see their smiling faces and heartfelt responses was truly special! We can’t thank you enough for all you have given! Your support and kindness is truly healing hearts and restoring hope!
