Posted • Client results! 🔥 client has had knee issues for the past 7 years. 1st photo was taken a couple months after her 3rd ACL repair she was still experiencing a lot of pain. After mumerous sessions of physical therapy, PRP injections, stem cell therapy and cortisone shots nothing really helped.

The 2nd Photo is after 20 sessions of training (2 months) Her knee is no longer “bone on bone” swelling and inflammation has subsided tremendously. And she is almost pain free! Excited to see what happens in the next steps of her training 💪🏼🤙🏼

IN MY OPINION 🤔

Nutritional coaching isn’t actually about nutrition. 😳

People over complicate the matter. After a basic level of education it ultimately comes down to the training of ones habits.

In order to do that people have to be able to objectively look at themselves and what they do to compensate for poor mechanics and stress in their lives. 🙌

If you’ve had issues that stem from poor diet and have repeatedly tried to address it with diets and other lifestyle modifications I’d argue you’re going about it wrong. 😧

I’d argue you really won’t change until you can be honest with yourself about why you use food as a way to cope (even diets can be used as a way to cope). 👍

Once you can do that, then you can start working through these now conscious issues and start to practice a better habit. 🎊

This time last year I was training people outdoors only, because of all of the limitations Covid put on our new facility getting done and open. There was a lot of uncertainty but the fact of the matter is that certainty for the most part is an illusion. After having to almost build back up from zero in the last 12 months it feels really good to be able to start opening the doors, and getting that warm, fresh air with these outdoor sessions again. Last year it was a necessity, and this year it’s a Luxury. Just goes to show you what a difference ones outlook and a little bit of time can make.

Before: Suzy came to me .kelowna with shoulder, neck and head pain originally. After addressing these problems we compiled a case study on her bow legs from birth. Her Tibias and femurs were internally rotated, she would experience medial knee pain while running or playing sports, ankles were pronating and flaccid. Her doctor had said she would have to deal with them and try to live her life as normal as she could with bow legs
After: 2 and a half years of just strictly doing training and her bow legs have improved! More posterior chain connection, knees are no longer internally rotated and flaccid, tibia and femurs have improved, pronating of ankles have gone away, laterally there is no more knee hypertension and glutes are activated
When I first started training with Willie it was to help with neck and upper body pain sustained in a car accident. After my consultation and first couple months of training we started to focus on other areas that I was not initially concerned about including my bowed legs that I have had since birth. I was initially extremely skeptical that anything could be be done to change them after a lifetime of being told there’s nothing that could be done, they are what they are. In the last year I have noticed much less knee pain, no longer need to wear a knee brace and barometric pressure changes no longer plague me during the winter months. I can say this is an amazing and unexpected result of training with functional patterns and .coetzee

Check her out! 96yrs old and she does 3 sessions per week virtually. She has experienced weight loss, more stability, less pain and range of motion in the shoulder she had surgery in (she couldn’t do this motion 2 months ago) AND she is now able to go up and down her stairs multiple times instead of using here electric chair. This woman is an inspiration. If she can do it ANYONE can do it.

Not perfect but better than it use to be. Being able to move well dynamically should be a priority for all of us and should be what fitness programming is built toward. Fitness shouldn’t be about breaking down the body but allowing the body to regenerate. Prioritizing proper biomechanics helps do this. By training in a way that ACTUALLY respects the movements human beings evolved to be really good at, pain and injury goes away during exercise, while movement, blood flow, energy, and hormone balance is enhanced.

I feel like I am living in a completely different body to what I was back in 2019. Now that I have experienced what it feels like to decompress my joints, I realise how compressed I was from many years of traditional training. The fact that I was exercising at a squat rack most days and doing 3-4 yoga classes a week, but still got constant back pain had me really confused.

On top of that my ability to deal with stress was poor. I was living in a state of anxiety and depression without realising the direct connection to my poor biomechanics.

Once I prioritised my movement around walking, running & throwing - my back pain went. Changing my light environment, cutting out inflammatory grains from my diet and fasting has also helped improve my sleep / energy and lose around 10kg.

has not only changed the way I feel, look, move and respond to stress, but it has also saved my career in the fitness industry. I am so grateful to for his dedication to making humans functional again and glad that I spend my working day aiming to replicate the same changes on my clients.

If you’re on the fence about FP, my advice would be to just start. It’s the best decision I ever made.

Posted • Looks can be deceiving. I remember when I was first starting to follow FP and I tried to apply what I saw in videos and tutorials. I was coming at it from the mind frame I had become adjusted to which was inhabited by the principles of traditional fitness and prefab/rehab. When I finally took the plunge and started working with a practitioner my whole world got turned upside down. It was like I had been living in the Stone Age and had been introduced to this future technology. If you haven’t dived into it yet I can’t express enough how much you should. There is simply nothing like it. Nothing gets the results like does.

only! 3 months movement and jumping gains from my client Rudi with cerebral palsy. Rudi is one of the most hardworking client that I’ve ever worked with. Here are some of his words: “At first I was a bit skeptical, however I could feel some improvement already after the first FP session. Since I started to practice FP, my posture, gait and the overall condition of my body has improved significantly. I have also gained more self-confidence and now I am finally beginning to trust in my body and its capabilities, as some people who have any type of CP, I tended to feel inferior.
