Here are some fun facts about massage:

Massage therapy techniques
There are over 350 types of massage therapy techniques, but only about 75 are commonly used. Massage therapists can choose a technique based on the client's ailment.

Massage and endorphins
Massage therapy can stimulate the body's natural painkillers, called endorphins, which can help improve mood and decrease pain.

Massage and blood pressure
Massage can lower blood pressure by calming the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for raising blood pressure.

Massage and sleep
Massage can help improve sleep quality, especially for those with anxiety-related sleep disorders.

Massage and headaches
Massage can help fight headaches and reduce the frequency of migraines by relaxing muscles and relieving pressure on nerves and blood vessels.

Massage and flexibility
Sports massages can increase flexibility by stretching and expanding muscle tissue to release stored pressure.

Massage and mental health
Massage can promote relaxation and minimize anxiety by stimulating the release of feel-good hormones.

Massage and office workers
Regular massage can make office workers more alert, less stressed, and perform better

Introduction to MediCupping Therapy

MediCupping: Medical Applications for Vacuum Therapies in Bodywork

Our bodies are a “walking history” of our lives. Any injury, illness, surgery, and even the toxic substances that the body has been exposed to from conception forward may still be present in the tissues. The body is brilliant in its efforts to protect itself from the effects of personal history, yet its capacity is limited. The body has to store that which it cannot process and eliminate. The result is an accumulation of materials such as old medications, inflammatory agents, cellular waste, and acids in stagnant lymph fluid. Have you ever wondered why cellulite can be so painful to the touch?

Why Massage?

When I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life I decided I wanted to be a Forensic Pathologist, but that is pretty much a doctor and as I really didn’t like school that much I decided to go with Massage Therapy:) I love helping people & knew that massage was something that was defiantly helpful! Since I started in 2002 I have been told that I have magical hands. So after being affirmed by my clients I knew this is where God wanted me to be :) I am very flexible with what type of massage you need. I listen to your body & ask it to do what it needs, not make it. I am a strong believer in good & bad pain. Once it flips to bad pain it is no longer asking, it is making.
