Its that time of the year when I return to my spiritual home, New Mexico. It's a place where the land speaks to me and feeds my soul. I will be attending the curanderismo class at U.N.M. from June 2 until the 13th. While visiting Albuquerque, I will be available to do limpias and platicas. Sending prayers of love and healing to all of you from Los Angeles, California. A quick reminder that the Curanderismo class this year will be from June 13-June 23 in Albuquerque, N.M. Come join us in this experience of learning about herbs, temascal, limpias, and the importance of sacred circles. There will also be many workshops to choose from in the afternoons after the usual class time. I will be doing the following workshop the afternoon of June 12 from 2-4 pm.
Curanderismo and Spirituality: A personal story of integrating spirituality into the practice of limpia’s, platicas and soul retrievals. The workshop also includes the use of drum medicine, reiki, and the teachings of the abuelas in walking the path to healing themselves and others.
