KMC Active

Our passion is educating people about movement, fitness, nutrition, and community.

KMC Active is a gym located on the campus of Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, IL. All of these things work together and require a responsible, common sense approach. Our promise is to incorporate that which is beneficial to our body, mind, and overall health. Our goal is to provide our community with a high quality, fun training environment and the necessary attention they need each time they train with us.

Our summer CrossFit Kids program begins in less than two weeks!

Our CrossFit Kids program helps instill healthy habits and positive relationships with exercise. Each class incorporates a warm-up, workout, and game to cool down.

Our team of professional coaches makes sure each child is seen and is having a great time.

Our summer programs officially begin on June 1st!

Summers with the KMC Active crew are fun, challenging, and effective for your children. Our job is to foster a positive relationship with exercise while promoting growth in strength, speed, and coordination.

Each program we offer has a specific focus. From sports performance to general physical fitness, our staff will make sure every athlete sees measurable progress.

Summer is quickly approaching!

Our CrossFit Kids summer program begins on Tuesday, June 2nd, and ends on July 25th.

This program is designed to get kids moving and make exercise fun and effective. Our team of coaches works diligently to make sure kids are safe but understand the importance of exercise and hard work. Every class ends with a fun game, which is always a hit!

We only have 10 spots left for the 2026 Kirby Athletic Advantage!

This program uses healthcare professionals to guide your student-athletes to success. The program begins with 9 tests to establish a baseline for performance. Our training is focused on developing the skills needed to perform well on these tests in addition to any sport.

Still wondering what your student athlete should do over the summer?

Kirby Athletic Advantage is offered for incoming 6th graders up to 12th. This 8-week program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning on Monday, June 1st.
