Hey friends, just stopping by to say hi and I miss you all. How can I pray for you this holiday season?

Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight for dinner and fellowship. For those of you who missed it, I’ll just cut to the chase…the update is that I've decided to hang up my REFIT hat.

In mid-September, I felt God nudging me to take a break. At the time, I didn't quite understand it, but I felt a strong sense of peace around it once I made that decision. After all the issues we’ve had with our new house, I now understand that He was protecting me. He knew that I would need the extra time here at the house and no other distractions or responsibilities. That’s a post for another time after all is settled and done and well here.

As time has passed and I’ve prayerfully considered the future, the list of things I’d like to have more time for just kept growing – practice oboe and piano more, arts and crafts, spend time with my babygrands and go to more of their events, write my book, be more active in church…and then the decision just came peacefully, it’s time to quit.

Stay tuned for an update from Lesia. She’s still working on mending her knee and discerning what her future with REFIT will look like.

There are other classes around - Becker and Elk River. Message me if you want those details.

What I will miss the most is all of you – the people – who have blessed me with your time and participation over the last nine years.

I never could have imagined in a million years that listening to God’s voice whispering in my ear “do this” would have led me through nine incredible, amazing, unforgettable years with you.

There are no words adequate to describe the extraordinary memories that this experience has gifted to this ordinary soul. Thank you for that!

This isn’t goodbye. I will be planning get-togethers and more dinners. Our connections and friendships are so important to me. Please stay in touch!
