"FINDING A WORLD YOU THOUGHT WAS LOST" Whether painting, weaving or writing, Mary Pat creates with the intent to encourage and delight whomever comes in contact with her works. When not painting, Mary Pat spends spare hours weaving exquisite scarves interwoven with whimsical embellishments and threads. Additionally, her writings are meant to inspire the reader to reach beyond present circumstances, and realize the hope that can be found daily to achieve a simpler, more peaceful life. and experience for yourself a world you thought was lost.

...happily planning this painting of the Corncrib Farmstand ... The Sarvinski Family Farm... Avenue of the Giants, Pepperwood, CA. Sketched in September. Loveliest little farm in the middle of the redwoods. Hope the piece is accepted into California Art Club exhibit for May!

....last one for 2025. "Seed Catalog Crazy" 5x7 acrylic. Caught myself daydreaming over the seed catalog... So I just had to get in one last painting for the year! ...thought I was so clever making little sandwich bags for our hiking adventures, out of my waxed cloth that I had just finished. My husband smiled sweetly at my proud accomplishment...and remarked: "How's that going to work on a warm day?" 😂😂😂

"Souvenir" (if you can call it that) small life preserver given to my mother-in-law in 1941 after they evacuated her and her 2 oldest children (my husband's siblings) from Pearl Harbor in a sea-going tug. Day of Infamy.
