Downtown Chiropractic of Moorhead, MN is now hiring a self-motivated, dependable, and passionate Massage Therapist. Pay is hourly and based on experience and no out of pocket clinical expenses are expected. Our clinic has been in downtown Moorhead since 1973 and has been rated Top 5 of “The Best of the Red River Valley” in each of the past 6 years by our community! Our massage therapists have the ability to work directly with well established Chiropractors and other massage therapists to build a strong, loyal clientele. Our current structure and flexibility is a great opportunity for anyone in the early stage of their career, or an experienced therapist looking for a rewarding place to work with less responsibility. Applicants must have completed the State of Minnesota’s minimum number of hours and graduated as a massage therapist.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Professionally greet clients
-Able to perform 30, 60, 90 minutes of massage sessions and be compatible with our current therapist’s practices. Examples include but are not limited to: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, hot stones, cupping, ASTM, etc.
-Ability to SOAP chart appropriately or willingness to learn
-Make client recommendations when necessary while remaining in the scope of practice
-Set up and take down room before and after massage
-Work in patient-focused practice
