Many people are put off by their dread and fear of needles when they want to try acupuncture. When we hear the word "needle," we usually think of a medical syringe, hypodermic needle or sewing needle.

An acupuncture needle is much smaller and more delicate. These needles have a hair-like appearance and are extremely flexible, allowing them to move around when touched and even bend.
