We are a community-based, child-friendly center offering consolidated care for children and families affected by sexual abuse or severe physical abuse.

We provide a coordinated, multi-disciplinary, comprehensive response to victims and their caregivers.

This award recognizes individuals and organizations who work tirelessly to bring safety, comfort, and renewed possibility to children in crisis—standing at the forefront of advocacy, giving voice to the vulnerable, restoring dignity, and helping young survivors begin their journey toward healing.

We were so grateful to celebrate our incredible MDT partners this holiday season with a small token of thanks! With the help of generous local businesses, we put together gift boxes for , Carteret County Sheriff's Office , Morehead City Police Department and social workers, who all do so much for children and families in our community.

A special thank you to Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q, Chick-fil-A and Carolina Home and Garden for generously donating gift and treat cards whose support helped us spread extra cheer and appreciation this festive season! ❤️

🎉💙 WOW! The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament has once again shown its extraordinary generosity, granting $2 MILLION to organizations serving eastern North Carolina, including us!

Along with our Craven & Pamlico Counties Children’s Advocacy Center, we received $7,500 to upgrade critical technology, helping us provide quicker, safer, and more trauma-informed care to children impacted by abuse.

We are deeply grateful and honored to be part of this amazing giving tradition.

🎃 5 Halloween Safety Tips for a Fun & Safe Night!

Stay Visible!
Use reflective tape, flashlights or glow sticks so drivers can see you after dark. 💡

Plan a Safe Route.
Stick to well-lit areas, sidewalks, and always use crosswalks.🚸

Check Costumes.
Ensure costumes fit well, avoid long hems that can trip you up, and opt for face paint over masks for improved visibility. 🧙♀️

Inspect Treats.
Wait until you’re home to eat candy and check for any wrappers that look unusual or opened. 🍬

Stay Together.
Trick-or-treat in groups or with a trusted adult. 👻

✨ The amazing Crystal Coast Quilters’ Guild donated 40 more handmade quilts for our kiddos (a whopping 80 blankets this year)! 🧵💛

Each one is crafted with love and treasured by the children utilizing our center who have experienced abuse or neglect.

We can't thank these volunteers enough for wrapping our kiddos in warmth and kindness! 💛
