🧩 New Sensory Kits Now Deployed on All Mon EMS Units 🧩

We are proud to share that every Mon EMS unit is now equipped with a Sensory Kit — designed to better support patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and sensory sensitivities.

These kits include:
🎧 Noise-reducing ear muffs
🕶️ Sunglasses
🖊️ Whiteboards for non-verbal communication
🪀 Fidget toys and more

Each item is intended to provide comfort, reduce sensory overload, and help our patients feel safe, understood, and valued in moments of crisis.

But equipment is only part of the story — every Mon EMS clinician has also completed dedicated training on Autism Spectrum Disorders from both medical and social perspectives. This training helps us deliver more compassionate, informed, and individualized care.

This initiative is especially meaningful to us: some of our own clinicians are proudly diagnosed with ASD, and many others have children, siblings, or family members with ASD. We see you. We celebrate you. And we are here for you.

💙 Because care should never be one-size-fits-all.
💙 Because understanding is a vital part of healing.
💙 Because everyone deserves to feel safe in our care.
