🌪️ If we experienced chaos in our childhood and relationships, secure and healthy relationships might feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable. Our nervous system has learned to associate chaos with normalcy. So, sometimes, we might unintentionally start fights or arguments because chaos feels more familiar and safer than peace.
🔍 Why does this happen?
1. Trauma Patterns: Our brains and bodies are wired to repeat what they know. If chaos was a constant, our nervous system seeks it out, even subconsciously.
2. Attachment Styles: Unresolved attachment wounds can lead to insecurity in relationships, causing us to test the stability of our connections.
3. Self-Sabotage: We might believe we’re unworthy of love and happiness, leading us to sabotage our relationships.
💡 What can we do about it?
1. Self-Awareness: Recognize these patterns and their origins.
