The lunge is a very effective exercise for building muscle and improving stability.

Form matters!
The heel should contact the ground before the forefoot/toes in order to activate the glutes which are usually weak on many people.

In this video, you can see that our client was doing the exercise incorrectly (notice the space under the heel). Fortunately our experts corrected this immediately to maximize exercise effectiveness.

A guy told me yesterday that he tore his biceps' (brachii) tendon pitching and his shoulder was never the same.
He admitted that it likely was because of poor form and asked me what he could do (or should have done) for it.
