Today at Atlantic Health System's Morristown Medical Center, we celebrated National Therapy Animal Day to recognize the extraordinary work of therapy animals and their volunteer handlers who brighten the lives of countless people. The Soothing Paws Program is Atlantic Health System’s Therapy Dog program that delivers over 25,000 therapy dog visits each year. Its mission supports a healing culture and provides emotional comfort to help improve the physical and emotional well-being of patients and team members.

The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center is pleased to share that a generous endowment from Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc., is expanding dental services for vulnerable populations at Morristown Medical Center.

Recently relocated to a larger space within the hospital, the newly renamed Delta Dental Center is a vital hub for care, serving thousands of patients annually. As a crucial resource for seniors, at-risk children and patients with developmental disabilities, the Delta Dental Center offers a range of services, including root canal treatments, extractions, reconstructive surgery and dental health education for individuals of all ages. With this generous and significant donation from Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc., Morristown Medical Center gains new resources to improve patient care and educate the next generation of dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc., for their partnership and support for this essential service.

We were once again proud to join our community, friends, and neighbors by marching in the Morris County's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday. It was a wonderful celebration of Irish heritage, music, and traditions. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
