COLD WEATHER TIPS

Even when you’re working out indoors, colder temps can make your muscles feel tight and slow to respond. Here’s how to prep your body so you can train safely and effectively:

⚡ Extend Your Warm-Up – Cold muscles are more prone to injury! Spend extra time on dynamic movements like lunges, arm circles, and jump rope to get your blood flowing.

🧣 Stay Layered – Keep a sweatshirt or long sleeves on during your warm-up to maintain body heat, then shed layers as you get going.

💧 Hydration Still Matters – The cold can trick you into thinking you don’t need as much water—stay on top of it!

🦵 Focus on Mobility – Loosen up tight joints with foam rolling and mobility drills before jumping into heavy lifts or high-intensity movements.

🌡️ Cool Down, But Don’t Chill Too Fast – Your body cools down quicker in the winter, so keep moving post-workout to prevent stiffness.
