This event is more than just a walk to our family—it’s our story, our reality, and our purpose.
My husband, Nathaniel, was born with spina bifida. Since the very beginning, his life has been filled with challenges that most people will never fully see or understand. He has gone through countless surgeries—over and over again—and even in just the past four months, he has faced two more. And yet, he keeps moving forward.
That’s really what this is all about—moving forward.
Because with spina bifida, life doesn’t pause when things get hard. It doesn’t slow down when the news isn’t good, when another surgery is needed, or when someone asks, “What’s wrong?” You keep going. You keep pushing. You keep living.
But here’s what we’ve learned: you are not meant to do that alone.
This walk, this foundation, this community—it exists so no child, no adult, no family has to face this journey by themselves. It’s for the parents learning how to navigate a diagnosis. It’s for the individuals fighting daily battles with strength and courage. It’s for the families who need support, understanding, and hope.
We chose to keep moving forward this year not because it’s easy—but because it matters.
Nathaniel’s story is one of resilience, faith, and determination. And it’s the reason we do this. It’s the reason we show up. It’s the reason we invite you to stand beside us.
Come walk with us. Come support. Come be part of something bigger.
Because in this life, we don’t just move forward—we move forward together. 💙
