It feels so comforting returning to West Michigan after exploring the Pacific Northwest for the past year. The shores of Michi gami with its magnificent oaks and White Pines warm my spirit as the cold moves in from the North. Having honed many skills around outdoor education with both youth and adults, I am searching for a place to call home for a wilderness outdoor wisdom school. Any ideas?

Hello all my Forest friends!

The past year has been so interesting. For me, for the world.

I have seen a change from inviting people to go with me into nature to find what medicine and connection is there for us to bring forced into separation by fear of something that nature offers and the virtual connectedness we now try to embrace.

As one of the humans that are a party of the nature that I speak of, I refuse to let this separation be a "new normal". The nature we are is meant to recognize out wholeness, our connectedness.

To this end, I am announcing that I will spend the next year in Duvall, Washington St the Wilderness Awareness School. There I intend to share in their collective wisdom of this natural world and ultimately return to open a Wilderness and Nature school.

From the youngest of us to the oldest of us, we are required to heal the separation by choosing ways to connect in the light of the sun, the voice of the wind, the solidity of the stones and the rooted wonder if the trees.

So much Love I have for you and all the beings. In this way, I am choosing my Wildheart. 🌲♥️
