Jordan walked into my shop when I first opened, and over the last year I’ve grown to truly adore the sweet soul she is. We’ve shared laughter, tears, and so many conversations about holistic living and her journey that have stayed with me.
She’s also the one who opened the door for me to create a post treatment hydration balm for a local esthetician’s office—an opportunity that shifted so much for my business and my confidence as a formulator. I’ll always be grateful for that.
That balm will also be available in my shop under the name HydraBloom, officially launching tomorrow. I lovingly call it “the $150 balm” because the inspiration and original formula it was modeled after cost $150… but I’ll be offering mine for $20 so it’s accessible to everyone.
In honor of Jordan, and with so much love for the kindness she’s shown me, half of every Hydrabloom sold from launch through Mother’s Day will go directly toward her treatment.
If you feel called to donate or share, please do. And most importantly, please keep Jordan and her family in your prayers.
Friends,
Sometimes life asks us to step away from the things we love…
so we can focus on the people we love most.
Our longtime board member and one of my lifelong friends, Cliff Hardy, recently made the difficult decision to step down from his role with Steven Whitehouse and Friends.
Right now his focus needs to be where it matters most.
His wife Jordan is battling Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer that has spread to her liver.
Jordan was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, and after treatment, went into remission. Sadly, the cancer later returned and was discovered in her liver.
Recent treatments have not worked as hoped, and the tumor has continued to grow.
But thankfully, there is still hope.
Jordan is pursuing a treatment called Histotripsy, a non-invasive procedure that could shrink the tumor enough for surgery to remove the rest.. or possibly eliminate it altogether.
The challenge is that this treatment may not be covered by insurance. With each treatment costing around $30,000, and the possibility she may need multiple treatments, this will create a significant financial strain on their family.
With Jordan unable to work and Cliff focused on caring for her and their family during this fight, they need our help.
If you feel led to help, please consider donating to support the Hardy family during this challenging season. Even a small gift can make a meaningful difference.
You can donate by visiting swandfriends.org and clicking the Donate tab to access our PayPal Giving page. Every donation will go directly toward helping the Hardy family and is tax deductible.
Please keep Jordan, Cliff, and the entire Hardy family in your prayers.
And if you’re not able to give, please consider sharing this post so we can reach as many people as possible.
