Winter Solstice begins today December 21st

Winter Solstice focuses on introspection, renewal, and honoring the cycle of darkness and returning light, aligning with nature's pause before spring. Practices involve deep reflection, self-care, and balancing inner stillness with the hope of rebirth.

Winter Solstice yoga focuses on turning inward during the year's darkest, quietest time to reflect, honor the past year, and set intentions for the returning light, emphasizing introspection, stillness, and nurturing the inner self through practices like Sun Salutations (to welcome the sun) and restorative poses (for grounding and rest). It's about finding resilience in the pause, honoring the cyclical nature of life, and preparing for renewal, balancing the outward push with deep inward rest.
