You can have a migraine...
👉 Without the headache
👉 But with vertigo, dizziness, and distorted vision
👉 And still be told “nothing’s wrong”

🎯 Vestibular migraine is one of the most underdiagnosed neurological disorders.
It affects the inner ear and the brain, yet many patients spend years seeking answers.

🧠 It’s real. It’s debilitating. And it’s often invisible.
This Migraine & Headache Awareness Month, let’s stop overlooking what doesn’t fit the mold.

The vestibular system operates unconsciously when healthy but can be debilitating during dysfunction.

Struggling to make sense of or manage your symptoms? You aren’t alone.

While diagnosing a vestibular disorder can be a long journey, it’s imperative. Once you have received a diagnosis, you can connect with specialized healthcare providers to help you mitigate the symptoms of your disorder.

Are you struggling to get a concrete diagnosis for your disorder?

Many people who suffer from dizziness, imbalance, or vertigo have trouble finding out why. While the majority of patients experiencing vertigo do have a vestibular disorder, dizziness can also be caused by problems that have nothing to do with the vestibular system.

The key to getting an accurate diagnosis is to find the right expertise. Most general practitioners may not be able to assist. You need to find a specialist who has experience treating vestibular disorders.

Did you know that each year millions of adults fall and one in five of those falls leads to serious injury?

The consequences of falls can be substantial; between 12% and 67% of elderly adults who fracture a hip die within one year. Even if a bone is not fractured during a fall, falls cause pain and injury while reducing future mobility and quality of life. Although the problem of imbalance in older persons can be complex, there are a few simple precautions that everyone can follow to aid in fall prevention for an active old age.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a common vestibular disorder that causes vertigo, dizziness, and other symptoms due to debris that has collected within a part of the inner ear. This debris, called otoconia, is made up of small crystals of calcium carbonate (sometimes referred to informally as "ear rocks"). With head movement, the displaced otoconia shift, sending false signals to the brain.
