First round of Dialysis went well, he's just sore from the surgery & can't seem to get comfortable. They will check his numbers in the morning to see how much it helped.

I've needed to post but it's hard excepting somethings that come your way. Jesse had a dr appointment on July 25 with his primary Dr & it wasn't good. His kidney function had went down to 10. She was so concerned that she called his kidney Dr right then. We discussed what to do & decide to wait till his appointment with him on the 6th. He went & had more blood work done & his function went down to 9, so his Dr said we've been fighting this for over 5 years & it's come to a point that we need to do something about it.Hes going to have a port put in for dialysis. He wanted him to go on to the hospital that day, but Jesse doesn't want to miss homecoming at church. He's asked if it could wait till Monday, the Dr didn't like it but told him to be very careful & pay attention to any symptoms. If he noticed any to go to the er.
He's having a hard time excepting this. Just keep him in your prayers.

Will post more on how he's doing later. Keep the prayer coming. Love you all!

Jesse's journey began in 2011 when he was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. It wasn't something he developed, he was borned with it. His doctor said some people go there whole lives with out knowing about it, but some people have problems with it. It wasn't untill 2022 when he started have issues because of it. His quality of life has dramatically decreased fast. He is one point away from dialysis & that is something we're trying to avoid. We belive all the prayers has been affective in keep him from going on it. If you are interested in being a donor for him, or anyone for that matter, here is a QR code, screen shot it & scan it. It will take you to a short survey, fill it out & it will let you know if you are accepted or declined. If you have any questions please message me or ask in the comments. We would appreciate it if you would share, share, share his page.Thank you all for following!

It's been a while since I've posted, it's been crazy around here the last three week. Jesse's pd catheter is healing good & planned on starting dialysis on the 10th, but has had other issues that has been very painful. Since the 12th of February he's been to the dr, kidney center & er multiple times. He's on the mend now. Hopefully everything keeps on healing & he will feel well enough to start dialysis on the 19th. Keep the prayers coming, we love you all!

Update
The surgery went well & he's in recovery. If you know Jesse at all you know he loves his showers & he won't be able to take one for a while. He's going to fight me over this. Don't know how we're going to work this. Also he has to go every few days to get his catheter flushed & they will teach us how to do this in time.

know I've not posted anything in a while, weve been busy & everything has stayed the same. That is good in a way. Where his fistula didn't mature, he's having a pd catheter put in today. He is anxious about this. Be sending prayers his way.
