I was born on June 24th, 1983- six weeks late as a breach. I came out butt first mooning the world at large. I had multiple fractures sustained in the womb and multiple fractures sustained during birth, totaling 25 fractures. The first thing said about me, by my grandmother at the hospital, I am told was "Holy sh*t! Look at the balls on that kid!" and needless to say I have spent my life living up
to that remark. I was soon diagnosed with severe Osteogenesis Imperfecta(www.oif.org for more albeit limited information), AKA brittle bones disease, and given a life expectancy of 24 hours, then 48, and a week, and 2 weeks... the last was 21 years. In June of this year 2016 I will turn 33. By age 16 I had sustained over one thousand fractures; I graduated high-school, in a normal curriculum with regular kids, a few days before my 18th birthday with an Advanced Regents Diploma, the highest awarded at that time. Over and over again I have been told what I can not do, and over and over again I have proven them wrong. This page is for the future Enabled and able bodied alike. It will feature my YouTube channel of the same name, and open discussion on both my videos and my posts. I hope to inspire others to do more, understand better and live better.
