On December 9, nearly 350 guests joined us for our 2025 Annual Gala “Still We Rise: Caring, Courageous, Resilient” at Glen Harbour Island Club. It was more than an event—it was a celebration of community, compassion, and resilience. Thank you to everyone who made this night unforgettable!

At the gala, we were honored to recognize New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins with our 2025 Leadership Award. Though she could not attend in person, Ms. Stewart-Cousins sent a heartfelt message. We also recognized WCHC Deputy Medical Director Dr. Glenn A. Davis with our 2025 Community Service Award.
United States Representative George Latimer joined the gala remotely to deliver a congratulatory message. We were delighted to welcome New York State Assemblymember J. Gary Pretlow; New York State Assemblymember MaryJane Shimsky; Morgan Slocombe, Lower Hudson Valley Regional Representative for the NY State Executive Chamber, who was representing Governor Kathy Hochul; Westchester County Legislator Terry Clements; and City of Mount Vernon School District Superintendent Dr. Demario A. Strickland.
