do you find yourself always eating the same things for breakfast?

Or maybe you're just looking for some healthier options.

I got ya!

I can remember the days when breakfast for me consisted of a coffee and muffin,☕🥯

or a bowl of cereal. 🥣

Yikes!

No wonder I had to take those naps at lunch. 💤

But seriously, I use to be a total "sugar addict" and most of my meals consisted of high carb foods.

Fast forward...

Breakfast for me looks a lot different now.

I don't get up and eat first thing in the morning.

I eat when I'm hungry. And most of the time, that's around 11am.

I've learned to listen to my body, and not just eat when the clock says it's breakfast, lunch or dinner.

At 50+, I had to switch things up. Foods I use to could eat, no longer worked for me anymore.

I've lived a low carb lifestyle for several years now and I couldn't feel better.

Do I have my moments...

Of course. I'm human.

When it comes to losing belly fat, boosting your energy and reducing sugar cravings?

I often talk to women who are frustrated and confused by what to do to lose the menopause belly fat, boost their energy, and end food cravings, especially sugar.

It’s the most common struggle I hear.

But here are two big mistakes I see women making.

⚡️1. Your blood sugar is on a constant roller coaster.

Long story short, these big bursts of insulin that come knocking on the door, well after a while, your cells almost become numb to the insulin.

So, what happens next?

Insulin resistance and that dreaded muffin top. 🙅‍♀️

At 50+, I skip breakfast first thing in the morning
and I have 10x the energy I used to have.

Here's why.

I know everyone says you gotta eat breakfast.

And hey! I believed this for years.

The first thing I did as soon as my feet hit the floor, was ask myself...

"ok, what am I going to eat this morning?"

It became a habit as much as anything. I usually wasn't even hungry.

So what was it?

Society tells us we need to eat breakfast every morning, so we do? Hungry or not?

They never preach, "listen to your body."🤔

I'm 50+ and I've been on my health journey for a very long time.

Struggling with...

- gut issues
- intense sugar cravings
- anxiety
- skin issues

I was a "hot mess." My hormones were a wreck!🤦‍♀️

But when I started intermittent fasting a few years ago, things changed for the better.

Is it for everyone? Not necessarily. Every situation is different.

I never teach my clients that this is something they have to do.

But we explore it together...

and then I let them decide.

Most of my clients have found that they love it.
- They've lost belly fat easier.
- They've had more energy.
- They're sleeping better.

- Weighing your food

I get it…most of us have done it at one time or another.

But I’m going to ask you this.

How sustainable is it for you?

Do you feel like it’s something you want to do for the rest of your life?

Because that’s the key.

Sure, some of these things can work for a short while.

But most of my clients tell me they did it, got sick of it, and once they stopped, the weight came back and sometimes more.

As women we go through many seasons in our lifetime.

Some good, some bad. Exciting and scary sometimes.

But if you can find a place...

where you feel at peace, where you surround yourself with family and friends who light you up...

discover a new hobby that inspires you...

reconnect with nature....

these things don't cost money....

just a little bit of your time, love and commitment.

You see...

HAPPINESS is a CHOICE.

Life can be as easy or as hard as we make it.

The decision is ultimately ours.
