Why you have to wait until baby is 1 yr old to give them cow’s milk?
Feeding a baby cow’s milk before they are 12 months can put your baby at risk for intestinal bleeding. There are too many minerals and proteins that your baby’s kidneys cannot handle. Additionally, it does not have all the nutrients an infant needs. Until then stick to infant formula or breast milk.

Pacifiers may help newborns stretch feedings and soothe themselves. According to the American Academy of Pediatricians, a pacifier can also help reduce the risk of SIDS. On the other hand, it can also increase the risk of ear infections and dental problems. After 4 months an infant can self soothe themselves therefore you can wean your baby off of a pacifier at that age. If used past 4 months of age, it can become habit that will be hard to break.

Avoid giving your baby cow's milk and honey before they turn 1 years old. Infants cannot breakdown all the proteins and minerals in cow's milk. Cow's milk also doesn't have the adequate nutrients your infants need.

Honey can be poisonous to infants causing Infant botulism which can be deadly.

Babies should not drink water until they are 6 months old and eating solid food. When offering a 6 month old water, make sure to only offer small amounts. Water can dilute your cild's calorie intake and at this age you want your baby to get enough calories to keep up with their rapid growth.
