Congratulations to Ballad Health as they expand in-house sterile compounding capabilities with the addition of three IVX Station robots. Hank, Willie, and Reba, the new IV compounding robots, join the XR2 Central Pharmacy dispensing robots Dolly, Johnny, and June, as Ballad continues to advance closer toward the Autonomous Pharmacy vision.

“Now, patients in urgent situations such as the operating room will receive medications faster, with the IVX Station robots pre-filling syringes, helping to improve both safety and speed of care. By expanding automation into IV compounding, we’re further improving accuracy, reducing risk and strengthening our commitment to patients.”

For Karalee Waltrip, Omnicell's purpose is personal. At 21 months old, Karalee's son was diagnosed with cancer, and she saw firsthand the difference our products make in the healthcare journey. It's because of this Karalee has dedicated her career to healthcare and to making a difference.

"When I think about what we do – I don't just see products. I see lifelines. The lifelines we create and deliver are solutions that truly benefit our customers – because when we give them reliable and easy-to-use tools, we free them up to focus on what should always be their number one priority – the patients."

Today, Karalee's son is almost 14 years old, nearly 12 years cancer-free, and thriving. Watch Karalee's story.

Behind the scenes at Omnicell:

At Omnicell, we believe in transparency and shared understanding—because real progress starts with real connection. Each quarter, we host OmniHuddle, a virtual employee all-hands meeting. These are more than employee updates; they’re moments where leadership leads with care, shares what’s ahead, and reinforces our purpose-driven momentum.

This quarter’s OmniHuddle was held at our Austin Innovation Lab and brought together virtual and in-person employees from across the business to hear directly from our leaders, celebrate wins, and stay aligned on what’s next. And yes, we had a special guest: our very own Chris Arendall proudly sporting a green mustache and showing what Omnicell pride looks like.
