We’re thankful for our instructors, especially those in their first season, who show up every day ready to learn, support each other, and be part of what makes TASP work, week after week.

Stella is one of our first-year instructors this winter, and we’re glad she’s part of the TASP team. Here’s what her first season has been like:
“I’ve loved my first winter at TASP because I get to spend every day with awesome people who all have unique stories. I’ve learned a ton and feel so grateful to be part of an organization that supports its staff and does so much for the community.”

Join Milo’s Family, TASP, and the Telluride community on Thursday, January 22 at the Elks Lodge as we gather for an après-style celebration honoring the life and legacy of the one and only, Milo DeVries.

There will be food, drinks, and plenty of stories shared as we toast to Milo- the joy, kindness, and community he brought to Telluride and beyond.

To help us plan, please RSVP by commenting below if you’re able to join us. We hope to see you there 💙

At TASP, we know how to adapt—finding ways to get outside, explore our community, and keep the stoke high no matter the conditions. Thanks to our athletes, volunteers, and staff for making every plan (and pivot!) a good one.

This winter has reminded us that TASP is about so much more than turns and chairlifts—it’s about people, connection, and showing up for one another.

Ellen, Kevin, and Noah volunteer with TASP as a family, and their words capture exactly why community sits at the heart of everything we do:

“We love winter with TASP because volunteering as a family reminds us that joy is best shared—on the mountain we learn patience, empathy, and teamwork, while helping adaptive skiers discover confidence, independence, and the pure freedom of the outdoors.”

As we wrap up 2025, we’re incredibly thankful for our athletes, volunteers, donors, and partners who continue to support TASP through every kind of season. Looking ahead to 2026—our 30th year—we’re filled with gratitude, optimism, and a whole lot of appreciation for this community that keeps showing up, no matter what.

Happy Holidays from the TASP Family!
Whether this holiday season brings turns on snow or a pause to reset, we’re feeling grateful for the people who make adaptive sports possible: our athletes, volunteers, instructors, and supporters. Joy shows up in a lot of ways, and our community brings it every season. Wishing you a warm, peaceful holiday.

Ushi has been part of the TASP community since 2003—as an athlete, board member, and volunteer. From chasing new runs to giving back on the hill, she embodies what it means to grow alongside this program.

Read what Ushi’s goals are this winter:
“I love skiing with TASP—every run is my own adventure, every laugh is shared, and every turn reminds me I belong. It’s independence meeting community. I love volunteering with TASP—helping others experience the joy of the mountain and being part of a team that makes every moment special. This winter, my goals are to master a few new runs, improve my bump skiing, and help others discover the thrill of adaptive skiing.”

Tribal Adaptive x Telluride Adaptive

Our first camp of the winter—and three full days of skiing, riding, reconnecting with familiar faces, welcoming new athletes, and sharing time on snow together. From first chair to last lap, we were out there making the turns and building community that goes far beyond the hill.

Huge thanks to the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation for supporting this camp and making many more to come possible.
