Meet Gabriella, saxophonist for Grupo Rimel, as she shares why the Jupiter Twilight Smoke Alto Saxophone is her instrument of choice. 🎷 🎶

Unlike the traditional bright, brassy sound often heard in Regional Mexican music, Gabriela embraces the dark, smoky tone of the Twilight Smoke finish—perfect for blending seamlessly with the accordion. She also loves the fast key action, which makes quick passages effortless and expressive.

Watch her performance and hear how the Twilight Smoke brings a new color to the Regional Mexican soundscape. Grupo Rimel

Jupiter Band Instruments is proud to welcome Dr. Bruce V. Ayers, Jr. as its newest Artist-Educator Partner. An acclaimed conductor, educator, performer, and leader in the arts, Ayers brings a powerful voice for music education and excellence to the Jupiter community.

Ayers is deeply embedded in the musical fabric of Nashville and beyond. He is the Founder, CEO, and Musical Director of the Nashville African American Wind Symphony, Inc. (NAAWS), an ensemble dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the African American community through the art of wind band music. He is also affiliated with Tennessee State University where he served as a Professor of Music and an Instructor of Applied Euphonium and is a member of the Recording Academy Nashville Chapter.

A sought-after euphonium soloist and conductor, Ayers has chosen to perform on the JEP1025S Euphonium, JEP1120 Euphonium, and JEP1120S Euphonium.

“I play because music speaks when words fall short, and the JEP1120S lets every note carry that message with power and precision,” says Ayers.

Ayers’s contributions to music and education have been widely recognized. He is a 2025 Nashville Emerging Leader Award recipient in Arts, Culture, and Entertainment and was honored in the Nashville Business Journal’s 2024 40 Under 40 list. He previously served as Director of Bands at the GRAMMY Award-winning Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School, where he led students to national stages, including an Emmy-nominated performance with artist Nick Cave at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

His educational background includes degrees from Virginia State University (B.S., Music Education), Tennessee State University (M.Ed., Curriculum and Instruction – Music), and Trevecca Nazarene University (Ed.D., Organizational Leadership). With frequent performances and leadership roles across the U.S., Canada, and the Bahamas, Ayers continues to inspire students, colleagues, and audiences alike.
