This is a common question, & the short answer is... it depends because every body is different.

Your lifestyle, stress levels, posture, past injuries, and how long your body has been holding tension all play a role. So does your post-care and what you’re doing between sessions to support your recovery.

👇 Here’s a general guideline:
• 1 session: You’ll feel relief, more relaxed, and a shift in your body
• 2-3 sessions: Noticeable improvement in tension patterns and mobility
• 4-6 sessions: Deeper, longer-lasting changes begin to happen
• Ongoing care: Maintenance, prevention, and keeping your body feeling its best

Think of massage less like a “quick fix” and more like working with your body over time. Especially if tension, pain, or tight fascia has been building for months (or years), consistency is what leads to lasting relief.

Your muscles have just been softened, lengthened, and relaxed. This is the perfect time to help your body “lock in” that work 🔒

🌿 Post-massage stretching can:
• Helps maintain flexibility & range of motion
• Reduces post-massage soreness
• Encourages better posture & alignment
• Supports circulation & lymphatic flow
• Keeps muscles from tightening right back up

Keep in mind, this should be slow, mindful stretches, so listen to your body and breathe through each movement. Don’t force anything or push deep.

Self-care isn’t always quiet… sometimes it’s movement, adventure, and doing what makes your soul feel alive 💛

Recently, I found my reset out on the trails 🚴‍♀️mountain biking through the dirt, then slowing it all down on 🐎horseback. Two completely different experiences, but both brought me peace, joy, and clarity ☺️

Self-care doesn’t have to look a certain way... It can be stillness or it can be movement. It can be rest or it can be adventure.
The important part is that it fills you back up!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just “off," take that as your sign to pour into yourself this week. Do something that brings you back to YOU.

Most of y'all are probably familiar with. This muscle is a common culprit for tight shoulders or a stiff upper back.

It's a large, diamond-shaped muscle that spans from the base of your skull down your neck and upper back, helping move, stabilize, and support your shoulders and neck. They often get overworked from things like stress, poor posture, and heavy lifting.

🚨 Signs your traps may be tight:
• Shoulder & upper back tension
• Neck stiffness/limited range of motion
• Headaches/migraines
