We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dependable Activity Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, is organized, and can create meaningful daily activities that promote socialization, wellness, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar
Plan and lead group and one-on-one activities
Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and outings
Encourage resident participation and engagement
Maintain activity supplies and stay within budget
Complete required documentation and participation records
Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff
Qualifications:
Prior experience preferred in long-term care, assisted living, or senior activities
CNA preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient, and energetic personality
