Most workplace injuries aren’t sudden accidents.
They’re repetitive strain, poor mechanics, fatigue, and minor pain ignored too long.

Early intervention.

Athletic Trainers reduce workers’ comp costs, lost time, and chronic pain progression.

That’s workplace healthcare you can count on.

💪🥩 Happy National Protein Day!

Protein isn’t just for bodybuilders — it’s essential for everyone, especially if you’re active, working a physical job, recovering from injury, or trying to stay strong as you age.

Here’s why protein matters:

✔️ Builds and repairs muscle tissue
✔️ Supports injury recovery
✔️ Helps maintain strength and balance (fall prevention matters!)
✔️ Keeps you fuller longer
✔️ Supports immune function

As we get into our 30s and 40s (and beyond), maintaining muscle becomes even more important. Muscle loss isn’t just about aesthetics — it impacts metabolism, joint support, and long-term health.

🔎 A general guideline for active adults:
Aim for about 0.8–1 g/kg of protein per pound of bodyweight per day (individual needs vary based on activity level, goals, and medical history).

Great sources include:
🥚 Eggs
🐟 Fish
🍗 Lean meats
🥛 Greek yogurt
🌱 Beans & lentils
🥤 Protein smoothies

If you’re working hard in the gym, on the job, or rehabbing an injury — protein is part of the recovery equation.

Strong body. Strong foundation. Strong future.

🚧 Trips, Slips & Falls Are Preventable — Not Inevitable

Falls are one of the leading causes of workplace injuries — especially in manufacturing, warehouse, and industrial settings. The good news? Most of them are preventable with simple, consistent habits.

Here’s what actually makes a difference:

✔️ Keep walkways clear and clutter-free
✔️ Clean spills immediately — don’t wait
✔️ Secure cords and mats
✔️ Improve lighting in work areas
✔️ Wear proper footwear with slip-resistant soles
✔️ Encourage employees to report hazards early

Injury prevention isn’t just about compliance — it’s about protecting your team, productivity, and bottom line.

If your company wants to reduce preventable injuries and create a safer workplace culture, we help with on-site injury prevention strategies, ergonomic assessments, and safety education tailored to your environment.

Safety isn’t complicated — it’s intentional.

02/17/2026

Most workplace injuries don’t happen from one dramatic event.
They build slowly.

In industrial and manufacturing settings, injury data consistently shows:

• Repetitive strain injuries make up a large percentage of recordables
• Shoulder and low back complaints often start as “minor discomfort”
• Overtime and fatigue increase injury likelihood
• Delayed reporting leads to longer recovery time
• Many injuries develop months before they are formally documented

The pattern is predictable.

Symptoms usually appear long before an OSHA recordable injury occurs. By the time it becomes “official,” the tissue has often been overloaded for weeks — sometimes months.

This is why reactive models struggle.

Waiting for pain to become severe, waiting for lost time, or waiting for a claim means the system has already failed.

Proactive injury prevention focuses on:

✔ Early symptom reporting
✔ Movement assessment
✔ Fatigue management
✔ Ergonomic correction in real time
✔ Addressing compensation patterns before breakdown

If you’re reviewing injury trends at your facility and seeing recurring shoulder, back, or repetitive strain issues — the solution isn’t just more safety meetings.

It’s earlier intervention.

We partner with industrial teams to reduce musculoskeletal injury risk before it becomes recordable.

If you’re evaluating your injury prevention strategy this year, I’m happy to connect.
