Never heard of something like this before? That’s reasonable since there isn’t much out there like it. I love the concept of birth doulas, midwives, and even home birth (qualified of course 😘) midwives. I love them because I see the genuine care and compassion they give to their patients. They truly want what’s best for them, and they aren’t a number in a healthcare system, they are a name and an individual person with specific needs.
What happens though when our plans take a different turn, and we end up somewhere we hadn’t even thought about with our new baby….the Neonatal Intensive Care. I have worked as an RN in the NICU for over a decade, and there is never a reason for being in a NICU that doesn’t completely overwhelm parents. One day stay, or a year, it’s overwhelming, sometimes draining, and completely not how anyone wanted things to go.
You needed support during your pregnancy, you need support during labor, you need support postpartum, so why wouldn’t you need support in the NICU?
This is not a medical service* but what Bump to Bundles does is meet you where you are in your NICU Journey.
Here is what we offer:
-Parent, Family, and Infant Bonding Support
-Education for Families (even baby’s siblings want to know what’s happening)
-Parental Support
-Feeding Support
A more detailed list is on the posted pictures.
When to call or reach out to me? Anytime. A home birth that baby has to be transferred to NICU, a C-section with a NICU transfer, if you anticipate a NICU stay, or any other concern.
