Moody for Iowa House I’m Mandy Moody, a licensed clinician. I have a systems and attatchment approach to therapy. I specialize in complex PTSD, addiction, and personality disorders.

I use a variety of theaputic modalities to fit individual needs. I am a lifelong Muscatine resident. I come from a proud, family oriented, blue collar family. My husband, Matt, and I have a total of six adult children. Matt works for HNI as a Business Analyst. He is also a board member of New Ground Theatre, for which he volunteers as General Manager for the Village Theatre in East Davenport. I have been working as a social worker in various capacities for fourteen years. I am an alumni of the Muscatine Community College and Iowa Wesleyan University. I went back to earn my Master's of Social Work from the University of Iowa and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, writing, painting, being in nature, reading, supporting the arts, and animals.

It hurts to watch people vote against their own interests.

“Based on a 2024 study conducted by the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Trump's larger proposed tariff hikes could increase the annual costs to U.S. consumers by $2,600—which could hit lower-income Americans the hardest.”

Trump has signed orders imposing tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico.

Why get rid of accountability? Police officers should be held accountable to the communities they serve.

Governor Reynolds tried to pass this last year unsuccessfully.

The bill would also change the procedures governing how officers and other city employees are disciplined through cities' civil service commissions.
