🐾 Incline Work: Small Hills, Big Benefits! 🐾

Today we’re sharing a great video sent in by one of our amazing clients of Max doing incline work on a ramp leading down to the river in his neighborhood — the perfect real-life training setup!

Incline work helps build hind limb and core strength, improve balance and joint stability, and support better gait mechanics and endurance. It’s a simple but powerful way to level up your dog’s conditioning using everyday environments.

Great job, Max — keep up the awesome work! 💪🐶

Gradation Spotlight: CJ 🐾✨

Meet CJ, a 12-year-old Carolina Dog who began his rehab journey with us in June 2025 after being diagnosed with IVDD/FCE and inflammation from C2–C5.

Our initial objectives:
• Reduce inflammation in the neck and shoulders
• Reconnect neural pathways in the hind limbs
• Regain standing ability and mobility in the hind limbs

With consistent rehab twice weekly, CJ began showing meaningful progress quickly.
➡️ After just one month, he was able to hold independent stands.
➡️ Over the next month, he started learning how to ambulate again.
➡️ By three months, CJ was walking independently, and we shifted our focus to building strength, endurance, and muscle memory.

Every rehab journey is different — timelines vary, progress isn’t always linear, and patience is key. What made CJ’s story so special was not only his determination and grit, but also the incredible dedication of his parents, who put in countless hours of home exercises, support, and encouragement. Their consistency and commitment played a huge role in CJ’s success.

We are beyond proud of CJ and his amazing family and honored to be part of their journey. Way to go, CJ — your perseverance inspires us every day! 💙🐶

🏆 Post-Game Recovery for the Canine Athlete 🐾

Meet Billy — an incredible agility athlete with some seriously impressive accomplishments, including earning his C-ATCH 5, one of the highest titles in CPE agility! This past weekend, Billy was back at it again, bringing home more ribbons after another winning competition — and now it’s time for recovery mode.

After a big weekend of high-speed runs, tight turns, and powerful jumps, Billy is in for post-game therapy, receiving a combination of laser therapy and PEMF to support muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and keep him feeling his best.

His owner, Sue, told us how amazing he did — and even better, she’s noticed that compared to past competitions, Billy is recovering faster with fewer flare-ups since adding these modalities into his routine. That’s exactly what we love to hear!

Strong performance + smart recovery = long-term success 🐕💪

Way to go, Billy — we’re so proud to be part of your journey! 🏅

How we choose a modality 🐾✨

No two patients are the same — and neither is their treatment plan. When choosing a modality, we look at the whole patient: their diagnosis, comfort level, goals, and what will best support healing and long-term quality of life.

TrueRelief is one of our favorite tools because it provides powerful pain relief without electrical stimulation. For Drucilla, it helps manage her chronic pain, so she receives treatment on multiple areas of her body at a lower frequency to promote overall comfort and relaxation. For Vinnie, treatment is more targeted, focusing on his cervical region at a higher frequency to address inflammation and discomfort from his pinched nerve.

Different needs. Different goals. Thoughtfully chosen care — always with your pet’s comfort and progress in mind. 💙

6-month check-in with Bailey 🤎🐾

Bailey, our sweet chocolate lab with osteoarthritis and bilateral hip dysplasia, came in for her recheck — and she’s looking fantastic! Her gait pattern is strong and smooth, with great paw placement and stability.

She got to enjoy her favorite buoyancy therapy in the water, followed by some laser therapy on her areas of concern while working on a snuffle mat for enrichment. Rehab that’s both effective and fun!

So proud of this girl and her continued progress. 💪🐶

Meet Wally & Page 🐾—same diagnosis, totally different game plans.

Wally is an 11-year-old Boxer with arthritis who knows his limits. He’s chill, thoughtful, and self-regulates like a pro. His workouts focus on comfort, mobility, and keeping him feeling good in his golden years.

Page is a 3-year-old Pittie/Boxer mix with arthritis and all the energy. She thrives on movement and lights up with agility-style work, so her plan channels that drive while protecting her joints.

Same condition. Different lives. Different needs.
That’s why no two arthritis plans should ever look the same.

We can’t change the diagnosis—but we can meet each dog where they are and build a program that keeps them active, happy, and doing what they love 💪🐶

Arthritis doesn’t mean no fun.
Louise is a senior girl who was starting to slow down—but that didn’t mean her best days were behind her. 💛

We introduced a multimodal care plan including PEMF and laser therapy to help manage discomfort and support mobility.

From cruising through obstacle courses in the gym to making a splash in hydrotherapy, she’s staying active in ways that feel good for her body.

We can’t turn back the clock ⏰
…but we can make the years ahead more comfortable, more confident, and more active.

Senior doesn’t mean done. 🐶💪

Fitz + TrueRelief 🐾✨

Fitz is heading into Laser Room 2 for his TrueRelief session—and he knows exactly where he’s going. This guy absolutely loves it and walks in ready every time. 🐾

TrueRelief is a non-invasive, drug-free therapy that helps reduce pain, calm inflammation, and support the body’s natural healing, making it especially helpful for chronic conditions like osteoarthritis.

Fitz has significant inflammation and OA in his spinal column. We introduced TrueRelief at his second session, and it’s helped speed up his progress. He’s moving better, more comfortably, and with noticeably more ease.

This video shows Fitz at his 6th session, happy, confident, and feeling good—and that’s our favorite kind of progress. 💙

Micro-moments of comfort ✨

Meet Charles, a sweet beagle mix enjoying his very first laser therapy session. As arthritis has slowed him down and affected his mobility, our goal today was simple: comfort.

We set Charles up with a cozy bed and our Avant laser, and within just 10 minutes, his body told the story. He visibly relaxed, settled in, and stayed comfortably laid down for the remainder of his session.

Laser therapy helps reduce inflammation, ease pain, and support mobility—sometimes the smallest moments of relief make the biggest difference. 💛

Welcome to the start of your healing journey, Charles. 🐾

Gunner Sky putting in the work 💪🐾

After recovering from her CCL surgery, Gunner Sky is back in the gym with Dr. Tom focusing on strength, balance, and confidence. Today’s session includes elevated stands with her hind limbs balanced on the giant fit bone, followed by limb isolations.

These exercises are key in post-CCL rehab because they:
• Strengthen the hind limb muscles
• Improve balance and proprioception
• Encourage equal weight-bearing
• Build stability through the stifle and hip
• Help prevent future injury

Controlled, intentional movement like this helps translate strength from rehab back into real-life function. Way to work, Gunner Sky! 🐶✨

❄️ Why We Still Love Cryotherapy (Yes, Ice!) ❄️

We get it—ice can make some owners hesitate. It feels too cold, too simple, or even outdated. But the truth is, cryotherapy remains one of the most powerful and effective modalities we use in rehab.

Consistent cryotherapy helps:
• Reduce inflammation
• Decrease pain and swelling
• Calm irritated tissues
• Support healing in the early stages of rehab

Cold therapy is especially important early in the rehabilitation process, when controlling inflammation is key to accelerating recovery and preventing further tissue stress.

🐾 In today’s photo, Moose is rocking his ice pack like a pro to help reduce inflammation in his cervical (neck) region. When applied correctly, ice is safe, targeted, and incredibly effective—and most pets relax right into it.

Simple doesn’t mean weak.
Cold therapy is a classic for a reason—and it still works. 💙❄️
