Coming up in June, will be leading a half LED Primary class on Saturday the 6th at 8am. Some knowledge of the Ashtanga sequence required as this class will be LED by breath count, however, modifications will be provided for those that need them. Come prepared to work hard and have fun!

Last week we saw the sweetest outpouring of love as we celebrated with for her last class teaching with us. Anna has been a significant part of this community for the last few years. Growing tremendously not only personally but also professionally. We’ve watched her turn from a runner to a yogi and then yoga teacher, become a wife, and now achieve landing a dream job. Wednesday night classes won’t be the same without you but we’re so blessed for the time we got to have you as a teacher and look forward to all you will do in the future. 💕

What yoga pose do you find yourself doing while at work?

Breath. Bandhas. Dristhi. These aren’t fancy words we throw around in class to sound smarter. They’re actually a very important part of the yoga practice.

Breath - fairly self explanatory, breathe. But beyond that, the breath gives you an anchor to focus on when your n the poses.

Bandhas - energetic locks in the body that help you move breath and prana (life force/energy) through the body.

Dristhi - focal points for your eye gaze that help to improve concentration and alignment.

Together these create tristhana or the three-pronged approach to yoga. When used, this approach helps you to go deeper into the poses and begin to unlock the real magic of yoga.

Class this morning at 10am with with a free guided meditation to follow.
Then at 1pm we have an Arm Balance Workshop with there are still some spots open if you’ve been thinking about coming!
