Hey Neighbors!
So, we started loaning out medical devices by word of mouth last year, and it kind of took off. Not only was I connected with neighbors who needed temporary help, but lots of people reached out with extra things they didn't need any longer and wanted to pass along.
I now have a storage unit of aides and figured it's time to get organized and make sure anyone who is in need is aware we're here to help.
The principle is simple. Use it until you don't need it anymore, and then return it back so we can connect with the next neighbor who needs some help.
There are crutches, walkers, knee scooters, wheelchairs and lots of other devices ready to go to anyone in the community who needs.
Please DM or email and if it's available we can get it to you. I'm also working on getting a Fiscal Sponsorship, which means anything you donate could be considered a tax write off. For now that isn't set up yet.
*This is all new and I'm flying by the seat of my pants. My goal is to help anyone in the Horry County area eventually, but since I live in Clear Pond I'm starting posting here and in Carolina Forest in general. If you know anyone who needs some help please share, and if you have anything to donate I'm happy to pickup too!
