This month has been all about waiting.

As I move my business to a new office in a town closer to my home, I am facing lots of small challenges. They are adding up to frustration, stress and endless headaches.

More waiting, frustration, waiting, alarms going off, lock outs, more waiting.

So we breathe and practice patience and possibly embrace the slow process of change.

Before the pandemic and even more so now, I cannot reach my toes in this shape. I have to accept this is where I am in my practice and that my anatomy might never allow me to get too far.

Acceptance means you stop fighting reality and let go of frustration. You accept completely in your mind and body without judgement.

I LOVE this scene from My Cousin Vinny. "He's going to show you the bricks...they got straight sides...they got the right shape. He'll show them to you in a very special way, so that they appear to have everything a brick should have. But...When you look at the bricks from the right angle, they're as thin as this playing card.

this is black and white thinking. Nothing is that simple. We live in a world between black and white, its gray and complicated. Where can you challenge yourself to choose to live in the grey messiness?
