Este es un libro donde personas con Parkinson y sus familiares, provenientes de 10 países distintos de habla hispana, comparten sus desafíos y resiliencia en su búsqueda de bienestar. Una serie de hermosas ilustraciones da vida a sus conversaciones sinceras e introduce importantes elementos, como la diversidad cultural y las dinámicas familiares.

Temas importantes, tales como el estigma, navegar el ambiente de trabajo y otros retos comunes, se entretejen con contenido educativo y recursos, enfatizando un enfoque integral para el tratamiento del Parkinson y promoviendo una actitud positiva y resiliente, de ahí el nombre “Parkinson Positivos”.

Este libro es el resultado de la colaboración entre la Davis Phinney Foundation, la American Parkinson Disease Association y Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Fue inspirado por el libro titulado "PD Movers" creado con personas con Parkinson y sus cuidadores, provenientes de la comunidad afrodescendiente en los Estados Unidos.
